The correct Answer is:
d

The system of calssification of seed plants presented by Bentham and Hooker, represented the most well developed classification of natural system. The classification was published in 3 volume work genera plantorum. The system divided phanerogams or seed, plants into 3 classes dicotyledons, gymnospermae and monocotyledons. Dicotyledons were further subdivided into 3 subsclasses-- polypetalae, gamophetalae and monochglamydae based on the presence or absence of petals and their function. they were further divided into families. But the system had a lot of demrits within it. HE did not knwo the affinities of the families placed under Ordines anomate and the failies were tentativity grouped together. so, a few order were not placed satisfactorily in the calssification. Monochlayade is a n unnatural clasification. of taxa, which belongs elswhere. the creation of this group has resulted in the sepration of many closely related families.
