Kinetic energy of photon `= 5 xx 10^(-27) J`
Mass of photon `= 1.0 xx 10^(-27) kg`
`KE = (1)/(2) mV^(2)`
`or V = ((2KE)/(m))^(1//2)`….(i)
Wavelength of photon `(lambda) = (h)/(mv)`…..(ii)
Substituting equation (i) is equation (ii) we get
` lambda= -(h)/(m((2KE)/(m))^(1//2)`
or `lambda = (h)/((2 xx KE xx m)^(1//2))`.....(3) Substituting the values of m and KE is equation (iii) , we get
`lambda = (6.626 xx 10^(-34) Js)/((2 xx 5 xx 10^(-27) J xx 10^(-27) kg)^(1//2))`
`= 1.62 xx 10^(-7) m `
