A solution gives the following colours with different indicators:
a. Methy`1` orange `rArr` Yellow
b. Methy`1` red `rArr` Yellow
c. Bromothymol blue `rArr` Orange
What is the `pH` of the solution?

a. The colour in methy`1` orange indicates that `pH gt 4.5`. [Methy`1` orange is Red in acidic `(pH lt 3.1)` and yellow in basic `(pH gt 4.5)]`
b. The colour in methy 1 red indicates that `pH gt 6.0`. [Methy`1` red is Pink in acidic `(pH lt 4.2)` and ywllow in basic `(pH gt 6.0)]`
c. The colour in bromethymol blue indicates that `pH lt 6.3` [bromthymol blue is ornage in acidic `(pH lt 6.3)` and blue in basic `(pH gt 7.5)]`
Therefore, the `pH` of the solutions is between `6.0` to `6.3`.
