For the reaction: 2NOCl(g) rarr 2NO(g)...

For the reaction:
`2NOCl(g) rarr 2NO(g) + Cl_(2) (g)`, the mixture containing equilmolar mixture of `NO` and `Cl_(2)` gases at `0.15 atm` was half changed in `175 s`. In an another experiment, with an initial at `0.35 atm`, the mixture was half changed in `75 s`. Find the order of reaction.

`((t_(1))/(t_(1))) = ((a_(1))/(a_(2)))^(n-1)`
`a_(1) = 0.15 atm (1_(1//2))_(1) = 175 s`
`a_(2) = 0.35 atm (t_(1//2))_(2) = 75 s`
`(75)/(175) = ((0.15)/(0.35))^(n-1)`
`(0.428)^(1) = (0.428)^(n-1)`
`:. n-1=1`
`n=2`
