The correct Answer is:
3550 refills can be filled

For the cylindrical ink container :
radius (r ) = 6 cm , height (H) = 14 cm
It is filled with ink up to 71 %
Volume of the ink in the container ` = 71 % xx pi R^(2) H`
` = pi xx (71)/(100). xx 6 xx 6 xx 14 "cm"^(3) `
For the refill (cylindrical in shape ) : diameter = 2 mm
` :. "radius" (r) = 1 mm = 0.1 cm, "length " (h) = 12 cm.`
It is filled with ink up to 84 %
` :. " volume of ink in each refill " = 84% xx pir^(2)h`
` = (84)/(100) xx pi xx 0.1 xx 0.1 xx 12 `
` = pi xx 0.84 xx 0.1 xx 12 " cm"^(3) " "` ...(2)
Number of refills that can be filled
= ` ("The volume of the ink in the container ")/(" The volume of ink in one refill ") `
` = (pi xx 0.71 xx 6 xx 6 xx 14)/(pi xx 0.84 xx 0.1xx 0.1 xx 12) " "` ... [ From (1) and (2) ]
= 3550
