If the rate of simple interest per annum...

If the rate of simple interest per annum decreases from `4%` to `3(3)/(4)%`, then the yearly income of a person decreases by `60Rs`. Find the principal of that person.

As per question, `Rs(1)/(4)` interest decreases when principal `=Rs100`

`=Rs24000`
Hence the required principal `=Rs 24000`.
