Let Rathinbabu deposited `Rs x` for his `13` yrs aged daughter and `Rs y` for his `8` years aged daughter in the bank.
`:.` Simple interest of `Rs x` in `(18-13)` years `=5` years at the rate of `10%` per annum
`=Rs(x xx10xx5)/(100)=Rs(x)/(2)`
Again, simple interest of `Rs y` in `(18-8)` years `=10` years at the rate of `10%` per annum
`=Rs(yxx10xx10)/(100)=Rs y`.
`:.` The daughter og aged `13` will get at the end of `18` years `=Rs(x+(x)/(2))=Rs(3x)/(2)`
Again, the daughter of aged `8` will get at the end of `18` years `=Rs(y+y)=Rs2y`.
As per question, `(3x)/(2)=120000impliesx=(120000xx2)/(3)=80000`
Again, `2y=120000impliesy=(120000)/(2)=60000`
`:.` Rathinbabu deposited `Rs80000` and `Rs60000` for the daughters respectively in the bank.
