Jayanta deposits 1000Rs on the first day...

Jayanta deposits `1000Rs` on the first day of every month in a monthly savings scheme. In the bank, if the rate of simple interest is `5%` per annum, then determine the amount, Jayanta will get at the end of `6` months.

As per question, the money of Jyanta that was deposited in `1st,2md,3rd,…….6th` month have to earn interest for `6` month, `5` months , `4` months, `3` months, ………`1` month respectively.
`:.` The total interest in `6` months
`=Rs((1000xx5xx6)/(100xx12)+(1000xx5xx5)/(100xx12)+(1000xx5xx4)/(100xx12)+......+(1000xx5xx1)/(100xx12))`
`=Rs(1000xx5)/(100xx12)(6+5+4+3+2+1)`
`=Rs(1000xx5)/(100xx12)xx21=Rs(175)/(2)=Rs87.50`
`:.` Jayanta will get an amount of `Rs(6xx1000+87.5)`
`=Rs6087.5` after `6` months.
`:.` Required amount `=Rs6087.5`.
