The rate of decrease `=10%` per year
Time `=3` years
`:.` The value of the machine will be after 3 years `=Rs. 100000(1-10/100)^(3)`
`=Rs. 100000(1=1/10)^(3)=Rs. 100000xx(9/10)^(3)`
`=Rs. 100000xx(9xx9xx9)/(10xx10xx10)`
`=Rs. 72900`
Hence the value of the machine after 3 years will be Rs. 72900.
