The ratio of the capitals of three friends `=8000:10000:12000`
`=4:5:6`
`:.` Par of the profit of the first friend`=4/(4+5+6)=4/15`
Part of the profit of the second friend `=5/(4+5+6)=5/15=1/3`
Part of the profit of the third friend `=6/(4+5+6)=6/15`
The gross profit of the business `=Rs. 13400`
Instalmetn of the bank `=Rs. 5000`
`:.` Rest of the profit `=Rs. (13400-5000)=Rs. 8400`
`:.` The first friend will get profit `=Rs. 8400xx4/15=Rs. 2240`
The second friend will get profit `=Rs. 8400xx1/3=2800`
The third friend will get profit `=Rs. 8400xx6/5=Rs. 3360`
Hence the profit of the three friends and Rs. 2240, Rs. 2800 and Rs. 3360 respectively.
