The ratio fo the profit of three friends `=337.50:1125:637.50`
`=337 1/2: 1125: 637 1/2`
`=675/2:1125:1275/2`
`=675:2250:1275=9:30:17`
So the ratio their capitals `=9:30:17` [ `:'` ratio of profit `=` ratioi of capital]
`:.` The part of the capital of the first friend `=9/(9+30+17)=9/56`
The part of the capital of the second friend `=30/56`
and that of the third friend `=17/56`
So in Rs. 14000, the investment of the first friend `=Rs. 14000xx9/56=Rs. 2250`
The investment of the second friend `=Rs. 14000xx30/56=Rs. 7500`
The investemnt of the third friend `=Rs. 14000xx17/56=Rs. 4250`
Hence three friends investemnt Rs. 2250, Rs./ 7500 and Rs. 4250 respectively.
