In a partnership business of Avoy and Pradip, the capital of Avoy is Rs. 23250. After 4 months, Avoy invested Rs. 3750 more and after 7 months, Pradip have withdrawn Rs. 3000 from the business. After one year, if the profits obtained by each of them be equal, then what amount of money had pradip invested at first in the business?

Capital of Avoy with respect of 1 month `=Rs. (23250xx4+(23250+3750)xx8)`
`=Rs. 309000`
Since the profits of both Avoy and Pradip are equal so with respect of 1 month Avoy's capital is equal to Pradip's capital.
It Pradip would not withdraw Rs. 3000 after 7 months the capital of him would be
`Rs. 3000xx5=Rs. 15000`
Then the capital of Pradip in 1 year would be Rs. `(309000+1500)=Rs. 324000`
`:.` Capital of Pradip in 1 month `=Rs. 324000/12=Rs. 27000`
Hence Pradip had invested Rs. 27000 at first.
