True , since volume `= pi 2^(2) h, h =` height of the cylinder , surface area `= 2 pi .2h = 4 pi h` sq-cm.
But the numerical value of `pi.2^( 2)h` cc `=4 pi h` and of `2.pi.2.h` sq-cm`= 4 pi h` are equal.
Hence the statement is true .
