`14 cm = 14/10 dcm = 1.4 dcm`
2500 metres `=2500xx10dcm = 25000 dcm`
So, the volume of water poured by the pipe per minute
`=(22)/(7)xx(1.4/2)^(2)xx25000` cubic.dcm `= 38500` cubic.dcm `= 38500` litres
`= (38500)/(1000) ` kilolitres ` = 38.5` kilolitres
`:.` the volume of water poured by the pipe per hour `= 38.5xx60` kilolitres `= 2310` kilolitres.
Hence the required water `= 2310` kilolitres.
