The height of a right circular cone is 12 cm and its volume is `100 pi c c` , then find the radius of the cone.

Let the radius of the right circular cone be r cm and its height is 12 cm.
`therefore` the volume of the cone `=(1)/(3)pi r^2xx12c c = 4pi r ^2c c`
As per question , `4pi r ^2=100 pi , or r^2= 25 , or , r=5`
Hence , the radius of the cone `=5cm`.
