The area of bases of two right circular cones are equal. If the ratio of the slant heights be `2:3`, then what will be the ratio of their curved surface areas ?

The area of the bases of the right circular cones area equa `therefore` The radii of the bases of two cones will be also be equal.
Let the equal of the two cones be r unit and their slant heights be 2l units and 3l units respectively.
So, the ratio of their curved surface areas `=pi r 2l:pi r3l=2:3`.
Hence the required ratio of their curved surface areas is `2:3`.
