A

Magnetic dip or magnetic inclination is given by ` tan theta =(V)/(H)` ......... (i)
where ,V and H are vertical and horizontal components of earth's magnetic field , respectively .
Given , `H=(1)/(sqrt(3))V implies (V)/(H)=sqrt(3)` ............ (ii)
From eqs. (i) and (ii) , we get ` tan theta =sqrt(3) implies theta 60^(@)`
