The given figure represented balanced. Wheatstone bridge since.
`(A)/(B)=(2Omega)/(3Omega)=1.5 Omega, (C )/(D)=(6Omega)/(4Omega)=1.5 Omega`
Hence, the equivalent resistance of the upper arm is given by
`R_(V)=2+3=5 Omega`
Equivalent resistance in lower arm,
`R_(L)=4+6=10 Omega`
Equivalent resistance P and Q,
`(1)/(R_("eq))=(1)/(R_(V))+(1)/(R_(L))=(1)/(5)+(1)/(10)=(2+1)/(10)=3//10`
