Given , `(dP)/(dx) = (100 - 12 sqrt(x))`
` rArr dP = (100 - 12sqrt(x))dx`
On integrating both sides , we get
` int dP = int (100 - 12 sqrt(x)) dx`
` rArr P = 100 x - 8x^(3//2) +C`
Now, when x = 25, then
` P = 100 xx 25 - 8 (25)^(3//2) +2000`
` = 2500 - 8 xx 125 + 2000`
` = 4500 - 1000 = 3500` items
