The integrating factor of the differenti...

The integrating factor of the differential equation `(dy)/(dx)+(y)/((1-x)sqrt(x))=1-sqrt(x)`, is

A

` (1+sqrt(x))/(1-sqrt(x))`

B

` (1-sqrt(x))/(1+sqrt(x))`

C

` (1-x)/(1+x)`

D

`(sqrt(x))/(1-sqrt(x))`

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
b

Given `(dy)/(dx) + y/(1-xsqrt(x)) = 1 - sqrt(x)`
` :. IF e^(int 1/(1-x)sqrt(x)dx)`
Put `sqrt(x) = t`
` rArr 1/(2sqrt(x))dx = dt`
` :. If = e^(int2/(1-t^(2)dt)) = e ^(2/2 log.((1+1)/(1-t)) )`
` = ((1+1)/1-t)= (1+sqrt(x))/(1-sqrt(x))`
