An aromatic compound 'A' on treatment with aqueous ammonia and heating forms compound B which on heating with `Br_(2)` and KOH forms compound 'C' of molecular formula `C_(6)H_(7)N`. Write the structures and IUPAC names of compounds A, B and C.

Give that an aromatic compound A on treatment with aq. `NH_(3)` and heating forms compound 'B'. Which on heating with `Br_(2)` and KOH forms compound 'C' of molecular formula `C_(6)H_(7)N`.
1. From the above information 'B' is amide and 'C' is amine
2. Molecular formula of 'C' is `C_(6)H_(7)N`, So 'C' is Aniline `(C_(6)H_(5)NH_(2))`
3. Compound A on treatment with aq. `NH_(3)` forms B.
So 'A' is Benzoic acid `(C_(6)H_(5)-COOH)`
and 'B' is Benzamide `(C_(6)H_(5)-CONH_(2))`
