Sulphonation : Aniline reacts with conc `H_(2)SO_(4)` and forms anilinium hydrogen sulphate which on heating gives P - amino benzene sulphonic acid (sulphanilic acid) which exists as Zwitter ion.

Aniline does not undergo Friedel crafts reaction due to salt formation with `AlCl_(3)`.
