In a series LCR circuit `R = 200 Omega` and the voltage and the frequency of the mains supply is 200 V and 50 Hz respectively. On taking out the capacitance from the circuit out the capacitance from the circuit the current lags behind the voltage by `45^(@)`. On taking out the inductor from the circuit the current leads the voltage by `45^(@)`. Calculate the power dissipated in the LCR circuit.

`R = 200, Omega, " " V = 200 V, " " f= 50 Hz`
`phi = 45^(@)`, At resonance `omega L = (1)/(omega C)`
Power dissipated `(P) = Vi = (V^(2))/(R ) " " (because I = (V)/(R ))`
`P = ((200)^(2))/(200)=200 omega`
