Explain the operation of a NOT gate and give its truth table.

NOT gate `:` NOT gate is the gasic gate. It has one input and one output . The NOT gate is also called an inverter. The circuit symbol of NOT gate is shown in figure.
(i) If input is low, output is high.
`A=0,X=bar(0) =1`
(ii) If input is high, output is low,
`A = 1, X = bar(1) = 0 `
