Calculate the current flowing through the capacitor branch in the circuit shown in Fig. 5.187, initially and finally,

At time` t=0`, when the switch is closed it becomes as
shown in fig 5.188(a). So the current flowing through the
capacitor branch is 1 A. When th capacitor is fully charged,
`i.e., at t = oo`, the circuit becomes as in fing. 5.188 (b) This means that no current flows throgh the capacitor branch.
