in series, then their resultant
are in parallel. Produce net resistance `R = 2.4 Omega`

`I = (20)/(r+R) = (20)/(1.6+2.4)= 5A`
`I_(1) + I_(2) = 5A` (i)
`V_(AB) = 4I_(1) = 6I_(2) or 2I_(1) = 3I_(2)` (ii)
From Eqs. (i) and (ii),`I_(1) = 3A, I_(2) = 2A`
`V_(A) V_(P) =6V, V_(A) - V_(Q) = 2I_(2) =4V`
Thus, `V_(Q) - V_(P) = 2V`
