In YDSE for wavelength `lambda = 589nm`, the interference fringe have angular separation of `3050 xx 10^(-3)` rad. For what wavelength would the angular separation be 10.0% greater?

The angular position of maxima is given by
`d sin theta = n lambda`
d theta = n lambda`
[For small theta, sin theta = theta]`
The angular separation of two adjacent maxima is
`Delta theta = (lambda)/(d)`
Let angular separation be 10% greater for wavelength `lambda'`.
`:. (1.10 lambda)/(d) = (lambda ' )/(d)`
Then, `lambda' = 1.10 lambda = (1.10 xx 589) = 648 nm`

In a YDSE setup interference fringes are obtained by sodium light of wavelength 5890Å . On screen the fringes have an angular width 0.20^(@) . Now the wavelength of light is changed and it is found that fringe width increases by 10%, the new wavelength of incident light is :

In YDSE pattern with light of wavelength lambda_1 = 500nm , 15 fringes are obtained on a certain segment of screen. If number of fringes for light of wavelength lambda_2 on same segment of screen is 10, then the value of lambda_2 (in nm) is-

Suppose the distance between the slits in a double-slit experiment is 2.00 xx 10^(–5) m . A beam of light with a wavelength of 750 nm is incident on the slits. What is the angular separation between the central maximum and the adjacent maximum?

A beam of light consisting of two wavelength 800 nm and 600 nm is used to obtain the interference fringes in YDSE on a screen held 1.4 m away. If the two slits are separated by 0.28 mm , calculate the least distance from thecentral bright maximum, where the bright fringes of the two waveength coincide.
