For a gas the differce between the two specific heat is `4150 J//kg K`. What is the specific heat at constant volume of gas if the ratio of sepcific heat is 1.4

A

`8475 J//kg-K`

B

`5186 J//kg-K`

C

`1660 J//kg-K`

D

`10375 J//kg-K`

The correct Answer is:
D

d. Given `c_(P) - c_(v) = 4150`
and `c_(P)//c_(v) = 1.4 implies c_(P)` in Eq. (i) we get
By substituting the value of `c_(P)` in Eq. (i) we get
`1.4 c_(v) - c_(v) = 4150`
`implies 0.4 c_(v) = (4150)/(0.4) = 10373 J//g-K`
