A partical executing simple harmonic mot...

A partical executing simple harmonic motion has amplitude of `1 m` and time period `2 s At t = 0`, net force on the partical is zero. Find the equation of displacement of the partical.

In the case SHM , `x = a sin (omega t + phi)`
here, `a = 1 m, omega = (2 pi)/(T) = (2 pi)/(2) = pi rad//s`
At `t = 0`, net force on the partical position at `t = 0`.
`:. x = 0 at t = 0`
`:. 0 = a sin (omega xx 0+ phi)`
`implies phi = 0`
`x = a sin omega t`
`x = 1 xx sin omega t`
`x = sin omega t`
