d. It is difficult to remove electrons from `1s` orbitals than `2s`-orbital, since 1s orbital is nearer to the nucleus and is much move penetrated into the nucleus than `2s`orbitals. Hence, lower the value of `n` more difficult is to remove electrons from orbital having higher value of `n`.
