Which of the following complexes (in sol...

Which of the following complexes (in solution) will have greater value of molar conductivity Explain giving reason
`K_(4)[Fe(CN)_(6)]` and `K_(3)[Fe (CN)_(6)]`
(b) `Pt [(NH_(3))_(2)CI_(2)]` and `[Pt (NH)_(3))_(6)]CI_(4)` .

On ionisation `K_(4)[Fe(CN)_(6)]gives`
`K_(4) [Fe(CN)_(6)]rarr underset("five ions") ubrace(4K^(o+)+[Fe(CN)_(6)]^(4bar))`
Whereas `K_(3)[Fe(CN)_(6)]` on ionisation gives
`K_(3) [Fe(CN)_(6)]rarr underset("four ions") ubrace(3K^(o+)+[Fe(CN)_(6)]^(3bar))`
Since `K_(4)[Fe(CN)_(6))]` gives more number of ions (i.e five ions) as compared to `K_(3)[Fe(CN)_(6)]` (i .e four ions) on ionisation `K_(4)[Fe (CN)_(6)]` will have greater value of molar conductivity
(b) `Pt[(NH_(3))CI_(2)]` is a non - electrolyte it does not ionise in solution whereas `[Pt(NH_(3))_(6)]CI_(4)` ionises to give
`[Pt(NH_(3))_(6)]CI_(4)rarrunderset("five ions")(ubrace([Pt(NH_(3))_(6)]^(4)+4CI^(Θ)))`
Hence `[Pt(NH_(3))_(6)]CI_(4)` will have greater molar conductivity compared to `[Pt (NH_(3))_(2)CI_(2)]` .
