In this chapter, we will concentrate on allergies where we will discuss the different types of allergies.

Allergy is related to the immune system, which is a reaction caused by the immune system with foreign substances in the environment. It is mediated by immunoglobulin E antibody (IgE). But it is to be noted that it does not relate to any sort of disease or infection.  It mostly affects the skin and mucous membranes. Allergy is mostly a type of antigen where an abnormally vigorous immune response is produced.
