If `alpha, beta` and 1 are the roots of `x^3-2x^2-5x+6=0 ` , then find `alpha and beta`

`alpha ,beta ` and are the roots of
`x^3-2x^2-5x+6=0` sum =`alpha +beta+1=2rArr alpha+beta=1`
product = `alpha beta =-6 `
`(alpha -beta)^2 =(alpha+beta)^2-4alpha beta`
=1+24=25
`alpha-beta=5 `
`alpha+beta =1`
adding `2alpha =6 rArr alpha =3 `
`alpha +beta =1 rArr beta =1-alpha=1-3=-2 `
`therefore alpha =3 and beta =-2`
