During inelastic collision of two partical kinetic energy after collision is not equal to kinetic energy before collision . Here, `KE` appears in other forms . In some cases `(KE)_("final") lt (KE)_("initial")` such as when initial `KE` is convered into internal energy of the produce (as heat, elastic or excitation energy).
Not : In some cases `(KE)_("final") gt(KE)_("initial")` such as is released. In this case the colliding particles break into pieces.
