(i) In moving from `A` to `B`,
distance moved `(s_(1)) = (3 - 0)cm = 3 cm`
time taken `(t_(1)) = ( 5 - 2) s = 3s`
Thus , speed , `v_(1) = (s_(1))/( t_(1)) = (3)/(3) = 1 cm //s`
(ii) In moving from `B` to `C` ,
distance moved , `s_(2) = 0`
time taken ,` t_(2) = 7 - 5 = 2 s`
Thus , speed , `v_(2) = (s_(2))/( t_(2)) = (0)/(2) = 0`
(iii) In moving from `C` to `D` , distance moved ,
`s_(3) = 7 - 3 = 4 cm` , time taken , `t_(3) = 9 - 7 = 2s`
Thus , speed , `v_(3) = (s_(3))/( t_(3)) = (4)/(2) = 2 cm//s`
