When two bodies move uniformly towards each other, the distance between them decreases by `8 m//s`. If both the bodies move in the same direction with the same speeds, the distance between them increases by `4` metre per second. What are the speeds of two bodies ?

Let `u` be the speeds of two bodies. As per question
`u + v = 8` and `u - v = 4`
Adding, we get `2u = 12, u = 6m//s` and `v = 8 - u = 8 - 6 =2m//s`
