Draw a diagram to represent the direction of motion of a body moving along a circular path. Justify why such a motion is accelerated motion.

At any instant, the direction of motion of the body is along the tangent to the circular path, as shown in Fig. Therefore, when motion is uniform, only magnitude of velocity is constant, but its direction is changing continuously. Therefore, velocity of body is changing. Hence, it is an accelerated motion.
