(a) If ratio are made to fall of two bodies is `1: 2,` what is the ratio of their heights of fall ?
(b) Two bodies are made to fall from two different height in the ratio `9:4`. What will be the ratio of their times of fall ?

(a) From `s=ut+(1)/(2)g t.^(2)` , when `u=0 , s=(1)/(2)g t.^(2)` i.e., `spropt^(2)`
`h_(1)/h_(2)=(t_(1)/t_(2))^(2)=((1)/(2))^(2)=(1)/(4)`
(b) `h_(1)/h_(2)=(t_1)/t_(2)^(2)=(9)/(4) :.f_(1)/(f_(2))=(3)/(2)`
