How does a bee buzz ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The buzzing of a bee is due to flapping of it wings. A honey bee vibrates its wings `440 times` in a second. (Mosquitoes vibrate their wings between 500 to 600 times a second and an ordinary housefly does so about 350 times a second).
