An object is placed at a distance of 15 ...

An object is placed at a distance of 15 cm from a convex lens of focal length 20 cm. List four characteristics (nature, position, etc.) of the image formed by the lens.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Here, `u = -15 cm, f=20cm`
As object lies between principal focus and optical centre of the lens, therefore, image formed is virtual, erect, larger in size and formed on the same side of lens as the object.
