A child has drawn the electric circuit to study Ohm's law as shown in (Fig. 3.42). His teacher told him that the circuit diagram needs correction. Study the circuit diagram and redraw it after making all corrections.

The circuit diagram shown in (Fig. 3.42) suffers from followings defects.
(i) The cells are not properly connected. In fact, these should be connected in series.
(ii) The voltmeter is connected in series and the ammeter is connected in parallel.
(iii) The direction of current is incorrect. The correct circuit diagram is shown in (Fig. 3.43).
