Can we use equations of kinematics to find the height attained by a body projected upwares with any velocity ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

No, the equations of kinematics can be used only if the body is moving with a uniform acceleration. The acceleration due to gravity is uniform only near the surface fo earth but decreades with height . Therefore if a body is projected upwards with any velocity, kinematics. find its height using equations of kinematics.
