A body projected horizontallt moves with...

A body projected horizontallt moves with the same horizontal velocity throughout the motion although it is under the effect of forec of gravity. Why ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

In horizontal projection of a projectile, the force of gravity acts in a vertically downward direction which cannot affect the horizontal component velocity of the body. Due to it, the body move with a constant horizontal velocity in horizontally projected body.
