What will the effect on the centripetal acceleration, it both the speed and the radius of the circular path to a body are doubled ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Original centripetal acceleration,
` a_(C) =v^(2)/r`
Now centripetal acceleration,
` a'_(C) =((2 v ))^(@)/(2 r) =((2 r^(@))/r = 2 a_(C)`.
