A car accelerates from rest at acionstant rate ` 36 km h^@` to comet to rest. If the total time elapsed id ` 1 hour, calculate (i) the maximum velocity attained by the car and (ii) the total distance travelled by car.

(i) ` v_max) = ( ABT) /(A+B) = ( ( 36 xx 48) xx 1 ) /( 3 6 + 48) `
` = 20. 57 km//h`
(i) total distance ,` S_(Total )= ( (AB)/( S+B) T^2/2`
` = ( ( 36 xx 48 ) xx 1^2 )/( ( 36 + 46 + 48 ) xx 2) = 10 . 29 km ` .
