In day - to day observations we find that when we do not apply external force on a moving body . It stops This seems to contradict Network s first law . Infact the motion of any body is first law . Infect the motion of any body is being opposed by two invisible forces : the force of friction between the body and the ground and also the resistance of air . If these forces were removed the moving body shall never stop, on its own .
