Aseertion: Thermodynamics process in nature are irreversible.
Reason: Dissipactive effects cannot be eliminated.

B

If the assertion and reason are true but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.

C

If assertion is true but reason is false.

D

If both assertion and reason are false

The correct Answer is:
A

In reversible process, there always occurs some loss of enrergy . This is because energy spent in working against the dissipative force not recovered back. Some irreversible process occur in nature such as friction where extra work to cancle the effect of friction. Salt dissolve in water but a salt does not separate by itself into pure salt and pure water.
