The two types of disasters are Natural disasters and man-made disasters.
i. Natural Disasters: These are sudden events caused by natural phenomenon, over which humans have very negligible or no control.
Examples: Flood, earthquakes, storms volcanic eruptions, tsunami, landslides, etc.
ii.Man made Disasters: These are disasters that occur due to huma n interference. It occurs due to deliberate or negligent human actions.
Examples: Terrorist attacks, communal riots, bomb explosions, road accidents, fire etc.
