Find the slopes of lines passing through the given point.
`C(5,-2) and D(7,3)`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`C(5,-2)` and `D(7,3)`
Let `C(x_(1),y_(1))` and `D(x_(2),y_(2))`
then `x_(1)=5,y_(1)=-2,x_(2)=7` and `y_(2)=3`
Slope of line `CD=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1))`
`=(3-(-2))/(7-5)`
`=(3+2)/2`
`=5/2`
Slope of line CD is `5/2`.
