Does the value of g depend on the mass of the falling body ? Why ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The value of g does not depend on the mass of the falling body . The reason is the gravitational force on a body due to the earth is directly proportional to the mass of the body and for a given force , the acceleration of a body is inversely proportional to the mass of the body .
